Welcome to the Pastor's Corner!

Greetings!

My name is Pastor Jonathan Jenkins. I have been the pastor of FBC Linden since October 2024! I am so glad to be a part of a church that loves God and loves people! Now, I am very excited about the "Pastor's Corner" on our website! The Pastor's corner will be a place for me to share some devotional content and some blogs! One thing to know about me is that I love to write! I love it even more when I get to do it to strengthen those within the Kingdom of God! I want to share with you my favorite Bible verse. Proverbs 1:7, which says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline." I love this verse, because it remind me that above everything else in the world and even outside of the world, there is God! We have nothing else to fear! This fear is reverence and respect that we have for God. If we fear Him, meaning we follow Him above all else, we respect Him and His authority above all else, we will then receive true knowledge. The knowledge that the fool despises! It reminds me to never fear anyone or anything and to always strive to live a life dedicated to the wisdom and discipline of God almighty!
